Changes needed in our educational system . . it is time - past time - to rethink the purpose of education and how it should be structured. 

Race to Nowhere will be opening in New York and Los Angeles on September 10.  Their web site has resources, and you can arrange to do a screening of the film at your school or in your community.  The testimonials to its quality, from individuals and film festivals, is impressive. 

Waiting for Superman will be opening on September 24.  Another film that is needed.  I look forward to seeing this film, and hope that it achieves it goals.  In fact, I believe that a project of this type has been exactly what our nation needed to inform the public about what is wrong with our educational system, and what we can do to make it right.
