Project Timeline

January and February 2015  - register, organize teams/partners, plan your project.  We will assist you in locating projects partners in other countries for the grade level you desire.  Teams will be small, one to three classrooms/countries.  Each team will select and conduct their own global, collaborative projects based upon the needs and interests of your teachers and students.

Develop the Curriculum - 21st Century Schools will spend a lot of time designing curriculum, organizing it, searching out resources and great ideas. We will provide a flexible framework for this curriculum so that you can adapt it to your schedule and the classes you are teaching. Some people will have the luxury of participating in the project all year long, while others may only be able to participate an hour or two a week. Some will participate through an After School and summer program.

March 2, 2015 -  launch the projects in the classroom.  We will provide guidelines very soon.

May 30, 2015 - celebrate the end of the first mini-semester of Food and Culture

June 15, 2015 - students and teachers have submitted all final products
